Meanwhile I started a new job and even got to pick my own schedule. I think it will be a big challenge but it is the first job I've found in a longgggg time that is full time and will work with my school/clinical schedule..

Double charting

Just like we call it in healthcare---I feel like when I blog I am "double charting" aka charting the same information in more than one place. I guess that means I share every tiny detail about you on facebook. I can't help it! I want to share the joy I get from you with everyone. But anyway, I will quit making excuses about my short blogs. I have always been horrible at keeping a journal so I'm not surprised that I'm not consistent with blogging. I'm sure you won't hold it against me :-)

In other news-we seem to all be healthy again thankfully. I'm pretty sure you and I had the flu plus you also had pink eye. Then daddy got sick. What a long nasty mess. But you took it like a pro! You are seriously such a happy baby. A little trooper (your birth proved that from the get-go).

Your bedtime is becoming quite regular. You go to sleep at about 8-830 every night. Your wake up time is flexible though. Regardless you usually get about 8-10 total hours. I can't complain about that. I don't get that kind of rest though because of the dreaded homework. Speak of which, the semester is almost over. I'm ahead anyway so have been spending a lot of time with you and it is so amazing!

I look forward to our first summer together. The memories we will make my sweet little boy....

Pink eye and a nasty cold. Breaks my heart. No worries, Mommy is taking care of you.

Well hello...

More craziness in the Bennett/Molle' household.

 

Oh geez, I started this on 3/9 and now it is 3/18. I fail as a blogger :)

 

Anyway, Daddy moved out recently into his Uncle's house so we would all have more room. We have all been so cramped in the condo that it makes things a little uncomfortable. I can't wait to get done with school so you boys can have my attention 120% of the time and we can all get in a much bigger house. 

 

You had been sleeping so well Mr. Legend but you have been teething for probably two months and I can tell you are getting close to popping those teeth out. Plus you have hit another growth spurt and are one terribly hungry boy. So needless to say you haven't been sleeping as well this past week or two. Poor baby.  You stay so happy and adorable though. That's my lil man.

 

Oh you forever amaze me. You are so active and smart. Although you can't crawl you can still make it somewhat across the floor with all your rolling and spinning in circles on your belly.

 

It won't be long and I won't be able to keep up with you. Just the thought blows my mind.

 

I'm also considering switching your daycares already. I will not settle for less than "best" when it comes to my boys. You are Legend and therefore deserve excellent care.

 

Did I mention I hate you going to daycare? I want to be with you so much more BUT I also believe in the need for socialization for lil ones.

 

Well anyway, the final thing of any importance is that I find out Wednesday if I can finish school this summer or not. Woo hoo we shall see! Although it might be mentally healthier if I wait until December to graduate. The sooner I finish the sooner I can move on to bigger better jobs so that I can provide you the amazing life you deserve my sweet boy.

Bigger but shorter

I realize my posts are few and far between and VERY short....but guess what? It is because I am spending my time loving on you and watching you grow bigger (and smarter to boot!).
So no shame there. And if I'm not spending my time with you, I'm spending my time doing things to improve our life together (finishing grad school).

I'm watching you snooze beside me. You always crash out when you curl up with your daddy. It never fails :-) I love your big hands and feet and the fat rolls on your thighs. Ah, you wouldn't be "you" any other way.

You go on and keep blowing my mind, my Legend. I'm here to watch you and help you conquer the world Mr. "Roll over both ways at 15 weeks, talk at 5 weeks, and nearly sitting up at 17 weeks".

Wow...just...wow. My. Heart. Beats. for. YOU!

3 means four means five

I just realized I was actually in labor five days not three. Yikes.
Connor you are rolling everywhere and I can't sleep BC you roll onto your tummy in your sleep and I'm paranoid. You are four months today...but seem to be going on six months...wow..

Oopsie

I fell wayyyyy behind. I guess that happens when you raise two small kids, go to grad school, plus work. Oh, and the Legend and Junior have been sick. My sweet Legend stays as sunny and smiling as ever though. He is just amazing like that. In the meantime, the plan is for me to watch the kids during the day from May-August...possible April. That will save on daycare plus give us some peace of mind. We shall see!

I would have never dreamed...

That'd I'd be a mommy...let alone to a now 3 month old who is amazing... and now an almost 5 year old. Big changes in the Bennett household. We are making it work Connor man. You and your brother are so cute together. He adores you I can tell.
You figured out how to blow raspberries and now you do it all the time. It is hilarious. You also are napping less. That is OK though...it equals more time I get to spend with my boys. Wow. .my life has changed so much..and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Well amused

I STILL can barely take you anywhere because everyone tries to touch you. You are just that cute :-). Your big brother has been here a few times and you seem to be well amused by him. It won't be long and you will be trying to run around like he does. Just the thought blows my mind. You are growing up so fast...almost 3 months already! Your sleep is still kind of all over the place. Sometimes you sleep all night. Sometimes not. You are starting to go to sleep around the same time every night though and usually in my arms. I'm watching you nap my Legend....and I can't wait for you to wake up so I can snuggle and talk to you.

Speaking of which

How is it possible that you are talking already? You were on your kick n play mat last night and said "mama" exactly how I say it to you. Except this time I wasn't talking, just letting you play.
You even had a shot yesterday and barely made a peep and even stayed in a good mood. Wow...my healthy boy continues to blow me away and grow up way too fast!
